Are there any sins besides homosexuality where offenders claims to "find out" they "are" the sinful condition?

Homosexuals routinely testify that they "find out" they are homosexuals at some point, thus denying responsibility for their attitudes and actions. In contrast, Jesus taught that we are created male and female and designed for permanent mating, so that the sin of Sodom and Gomorrah is a rejection of who one is. My question is, are there any other sins where those who practice the sin deny responsibility by claiming an innate, predestined identity in that sin?
