Why is it considered "wrong" to have sexual relations with multiple people?

I mean, the desire for sex is an innate animal funcion. If we are hungry, we eat to satisfy that. And if there isnt food, we find a way to get some. In the same way, if your parther isnt there for whatever reason and you need your sexual desire filled, why is it considered wrong to do it with another person?
