What is the name of this movie?

I think it was recorded in the late nineties. I don't remember the exact plot but there is a group of young people waiting for Him or He who walks with the shadows or something like that. The whole movie is very dark and there is a girl in a red dress who is a lover of one of the people who are waiting for the aforementioned. She has long brown straight hair. That's all I remember.
