Which degree would you recommend? Economics, engineering, biology or mathematics?
Hey there! I'm a college sophomore that needs to declare a major soon, and I've narrowed the list down to these four. My innate interests are in the liberal arts, but I've been reading negative things online about the LA degree. Job security/availability and decent pay are important to me, which is why engineering is on the list. I am not greatly interested in it, but I think I would be good at it. Plus, since I am a sophomore having taken pretty much only LA courses, I would have to more or less start over if I committed to engineering. Are there decent jobs in the other three? I've also been reading that nowadays if you don't major in some kind of business/engineering area, it's a waste of student loans. I would love to hear from those who've already ventured into the real world, or even college students who've made similar decisions...Thanks!
